What you are downloading:
By following the instructions below you will be downloading a compressed self-executing (.exe) file containing three versions of each photograph. The first will be a high resolution version suitable for printing [e.g. 1234_front.jpg]. The second file will be a low resolution version suitable for uploading to your Metrolist system (e.g. 1234_front_mls.jpg). The third file will be another low resolution version suitable for uploading to the Realtor.com web site. The downloaded file will be a self-executing file [you do not need WinZip installed on your computer] with all of the photographs compressed. You will need to follow the steps below to download and uncompress the file. You may wish to print these instructions and refer to them during this process.
How to download your images:
1. Left click on the
property address below to begin the download process.
2. In the "File Download-Security Warning" dialogue
box, left click on the "SAVE" button.
3. In the "Save As" dialogue box, navigate to and
open the folder you would like to save the downloaded file into. Then click the
"SAVE" button. Note: you may wish to download all files to your desktop for
simplicity and ease of tracking.
4. The "File Download" dialogue box will then
appear providing the status of the download.
How to uncompress your downloaded file:
1. When the download is
complete, navigate to where you saved the file and double left click on it.
2. The "Open File-Security Warning" dialogue box
will appear. Within this box, left click on the "RUN" button.
3. In the "WinZip Self-Extractor..." dialogue box,
left click on the "BROWSE" button.
4. In the "Browse For Folder" dialogue box,
navigate to and select the folder you would like to save the uncompressed photos
to. You may wish to save them to the same folder/location you saved the original
download to. Then left click the "OK" button.
5. Then, back in the "WinZip Self-Extractor..."
dialogue box, left click the "UNZIP" button [the top button on the right
hand column of buttons].
6. You will see the progress of the decompression
process and then a "WinZip Self-Extractor" window will appear telling you that
the process was successful. Left click the "OK" button within this window.
7. To finish, left click the "CLOSE" button in the
"WinZip Self-Extractor..." dialogue box.
8. You can now navigate to the folder containing
your uncompressed photos to view them.
Notes:
1. It is very important that you know where you are saving your files to. If you forget, or don't know, try using the START-SEARCH function within MS Windows to look for them on your computer.
2. If you get an error message at any point in the process indicating that the file is corrupted or cannot be uncompressed, you will need to download the file again as something went wrong during the downloading of the file to your computer.
